There are many reasons why you might want to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a yoga teacher. Working with a personal trainer, whether regularly or for a block of sessions, has been the norm for a number of years now, and if you’re keen to use your yoga practise to manage your wellbeing then you should consider private lessons.
I work with people on a 1-2-1 basis and offer private sessions either; in their home if based in South West London, in a private location between our locations, or virtually if we have worked together in person before.
Why might you want private yoga classes with me?
You would invest in a uniquely tailored practise, completely personal to your needs
You will receive undivided attention from myself in our sessions, the attention can not be individual when in a group class, however small the group might be
You will be able to practise from the comfort of your own home, fitting around your schedule in a way that group classes cannot
You’ll be able to tailor the length of the class to your needs. 60 minute classes are the minimum, 90 minutes is standard and 2 hours is also an option
You’re not feeling ready to return to group classes, or want to gain confidence in your practise before attending group classes
You want to receive suggestions for practises and drills to do outside of lessons to target specific areas for strength or flexibility
You want to gain tailored practises to support your mental wellbeing, and want to work with someone with experience in working with therapeutic yoga for mental health conditions - read all about my work with the Yoga in Health
To develop a self meditation practise, guided by a qualified meditation teacher
You want guided meditations to form a part of your practise to help to restore and achieve a deep state of relaxation
You want to work towards a specific goal and want to take a tailored approach to someone who really understands you and your needs
To demystify yoga postures (asana) and break down what muscles are working in each posture
You want to deepen the physical part of your practise, or learn more about yoga philosophy and how you can bring it into your practise
You are pregnant or have recently given birth and want a practise suitable that supports you through these times (read all about Pre and Post Natal yoga with me here)
You want to go practise with your family or other small group in a private setting
You want to practise with a teacher with a wide knowledge base, who is continually attending workshops and teacher trainings to keep this knowledge up-to-date, and has specific training in therapeutic yoga and meditation practises
If you’re local to me then I can travel to your home. I serve clients in; Wandsworth, Chelsea, Putney, Earlsfield, Clapham, Battersea, Barnes, Fulham, Tooting, Chiswick.
Otherwise at an additional fee we can arrange a mutually convenient private space that works for all parties. After an initial consultation call or meeting we can decide on the length and frequency of our practises together. After a few initial sessions together we can even look to take the practises fully online if that suits you better.
Contact me to take the first step to working together. I look forward to connecting with you.
